Saving Groups – Average Savings

The indicator assesses the average amount saved by the saving group members at the time of the survey.

Calculate the indicator’s value by taking the following three steps:

1) Review the records of all supported saving groups and assess the current total amount of their savings (including the savings that are currently provided as loans).

2) Review the records of all supported saving groups and count the total number of their members.

3) To calculate the indicator’s value,  divide the total amount of the groups’ savings by the total number of their members.
