Indicator’s Purpose
How to Collect and Analyse the Required Data
Determine the indicator's value by using the following methodology:
1) Interview a VET institution representative about the availability of labour market information. You should focus on whether they have relevant and recent (up to 3 years old) data on:
> employment of their graduates from tracer studies;
> current skill gaps faced by private sector/ employers;
> labour market needs monitoring data conducted by local authorities
2) To calculate the indicator, include all VET institutions that have access to all 3 above-mentioned sources of information (these criteria can be adjusted if required and well justified).
Important Comments
1) The indicator does not measure the extent to which labour market information is being utilised by the VET institutions. Such measurement requires a separate indicator.
