Easier Filtering of Indicators Now Available Across All Topics
IndiKit’s filter for finding indicators based on what your project aims to achieve is now available for all topics covered by the platform. The “What do you need to measure?” filter appears above the list of indicators under each topic, making it easier to identify the most relevant indicators for your intended results.

The session explored how to measure the results of disaster risk management programmes, including practical indicators for tracking risk knowledge, preparedness, adoption of risk reduction actions, governance, early warning systems, and reduced disaster impacts. The session covered when to use specific indicators, the methodologies behind them, practical tips for data collection and analysis, and common pitfalls to avoid. New Guidance on Disaster Risk Management Indicators
We have updated and expanded our guidance on Disaster Risk Management indicators, now offering a comprehensive set of 33 indicators covering reduced vulnerability, risk knowledge and perceptions, adoption of risk reduction actions, community preparedness, institutional DRM governance, and early warning & anticipatory action.
Expanded Good Governance Indicators
The Good Governance section of IndiKit has been revised and expanded with 21 indicators designed to track changes in participation and accountability, citizen–institution engagement, civil society capacity, and youth civic engagement. It supports more consistent measurement of governance-related outcomes across programmes and contexts.
Guidance on All New DG ECHO Key Outcome Indicators Added
In December 2025, we added guidance on the full set of DG ECHO’s new Key Outcome Indicators (KOIs). You can find them under nutrition, food security, health, WASH, DRR, shelter, protection mainstreaming and environmental mainstreaming sections using the filter Donor → ECHO.
Updated and Expanded Guidance on 100+ Indicators
Throughout 2025, we carried out an extensive review and update of IndiKit’s content. This work strengthened the methodological quality of guidance for many existing indicators and added dozens of new ones. More improvements are coming in 2026 — to help make your MEAL work easier and even more accurate.
Webinar — Make Your MEAL Easier!
In October 2025, People in Need’s platform Civil Society Now hosted the webinar “Make Your MEAL Easier” for MEAL practitioners from dozens of countries. We highlighted how IndiKit can support easier, more consistent MEAL work and help improve data quality. The session included a walkthrough of IndiKit’s library of 500+ project indicators, featuring step-by-step data collection guidance and practical, field-tested tips.
